Parlee Beach is only a 10 minutes walk distance from Vacation Village accommodations. The famous beach will charm you at any time of the day! It is considered one of the most beautiful beaches in North America and has the warmest seawater in Canada!

Pointe-du-Chêne Warf

Join the locals at the Pointe-du-Chêne harbour to watch the beautiful sunsets. Enjoy an ice cream sundae or a delicious meal at one of the restaurants with a panoramic view of Shediac Bay. Bring your swimsuit and jump in the water from the dock if you're feeling as adventurous as the locals!

Neptune Drive-In

Experience the outdoor cinema at Shediac's Neptune Drive-In. Recent movies are showing every weekend, just minutes from your cottage. Plan and arrive early to avoid long lines as this activity is very popular.

Giant Lobster and Farmers Market

A photo with the giant lobster in Shediac is an absolute must! In addition to the many festivals during the summer months, Shediac offers many activities and events not to be missed. On Sundays, the Farmers' Market is where locals and visitors experience the local culture. Here you can purchase fresh produce from farmers, unique arts and crafts made by local artisans, and sample the authentic cuisine of our region.

Hopewell Rocks, Fundy National Park and Cape Enrage

Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park, one of New Brunswick's most popular destinations, is home to the highest tides in the world. At low tide, you can walk on the ocean floor, explore the coves and get a closer look at the famous "flowerpot" rocks. Are you looking for adventure? Stop at Cape Enrage for a zip line ride or to rappel. Cape Enrage offers one of the most spectacular views of the Bay of Fundy from its towering cliffs.

Town of Bouctouche

A 30-minute drive north brings you to Bouctouche, a welcoming and captivating place that echoes Acadie's colours. A visit to the Pays de la Sagouine is in order! You will be swept back in time with the charming characters of the Pays de la Sagouine. Discover the Bouctouche dunes at the Irving Eco-Centre, with its boardwalk stretching several kilometers over the dunes.

Kouchibouguac National Park

Kouchibouguac National Park is located approximately 80 km from Shediac along the Acadian coast. You will discover beautiful sandy beaches, dunes and numerous bicycle paths. Bird watching is one of the park's highlights, as it is home to one of the largest colonies of terns and piping plovers. And don't miss the starry sky, Kouchibouguac was proclaimed Dark Sky Preserve in 2009 by the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada.

City of Moncton

The city of Moncton is only 20 minutes from Shediac. It is the perfect place for shopping, dining and microbrewing. Moncton is also home to the Cineplex movie theatre, Magic Mountain Water Park, The Magnetic Hill Zoo, Magnetic Hill Winery, Usva Nordic Spa and the Avenir Centre. While you're here, stop by the Tidal Bore, a natural wonder downtown along the Petitcodiac River.

Prince Edward Island

Remember that Prince Edward Island  is just around the corner and is the perfect day trip destination. The Confederation Bridge  to Prince Edward Island is about 60 minutes from your cottage. On the New Brunswick side, in Bayfield, you can stop to admire the impressive height of this bridge. Once on the island, explore the capital city of Charlottetown and stop by the Confederation Centre of the Arts to see the very popular musical presentation Anne of Green Gables. Discover the beautiful red sand beaches in Cavendish and explore the many tourist attractions.
Horizon Park
Horizon Park, located next door to Vacation Village Cottages, is home to 162 seasonal campers. A few sites are available for rental by the evening or by the week.
